An Historical Approach, Creativity A Necessity For Survival.

The central concern of the discipline of history is to understand how people existed, acted and thought in the past and the societies and cultures they inhabited. The objective of the intellectuals and emotionals enterprises is to create imaginary world that never actually existed based on interpretations of factual evidence and intuition. Because the past has no objective materials of reality, any interaction with it can be a creative and imaginative one.

Creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. Creativity is characterized by the ability to perceive the world in a new ways, to find hidden patterns, to make connection between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solution.

Creativity is a phenomenon whereby something new and somehow valuable is formed. The created item may be intangible (such as an idea, a scientific theory, a musical composition, or a joke) or a physical object (such as an invention, a literary work, or a painting).

Scholarly interest in creativity is found in a number of disciplines, primarily psychology, business studies, and cognitive science, but also education, technology, engineering, philosophy (particularly philosophy of science), theology, sociology, linguistics,  and economics, covering  the relations between creativity and general intelligence, personality type, mental and neurological processes, mental health, or artificial intelligence; the potential for fostering creativity through education and training; the fostering of creativity for national economic benefit, and the application of creative resources to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning.

Now going by the line of history, I would be using an extract from the late stone age. Stone age is a period in Africa whereby all the activities of man is characterized by stone implements. This period is divided into three phases; the Paleolithic period, the Mesolithic period and the Neolithic period which is the late stone age, during the first two period the early man's activities were not recorded, the early man was still a gatherer of fruit and hunters of animals. The rate of survival during this period was very low, but, when it got to the late stone age (Neolithic stone age) early man began to get grasp of his environment and began to control the activities within it, new ideas were brought up, critical thinking were encourage, then, creativity comes in. Planting and breading of Animal started from the left over fruits gotten in the thick forest  and the Animals been hunted down, this channelled a way for agriculture.

Early man through their creativity discovered a lot of things, for instance, Iron was discovered and through creativity they version out different kinds of tools and weapon, got themselves permanent abode, start a system of government, means of exchange among themselves and the likes.  All this things were possible through the act of reasoning and critical thinking which were put into action (Creativity)

The Nile would have been havoc and a great disaster to the Egyptians but the reverse is the case rather than danger the Nile river serve as a blessing to the people of Egypt. All their imagine and unimagined problem were totally solved through it, it was through this Nile river they discovered the means of the first irrigation in the world, means of writing, building of pyramids and other building construction, transportation, agriculture, security and lot more, were discovered through the river Nile, with the help of reasoning and critical thinking that came into action (Creativity) and turn their misfortune to fortune.

In the medieval Europe, after renaissance period that gave chance for questions, enlightenment came in and gave space for discoveries then, industrial revolution took place whereby different kinds of machines were invented and this boost the economy and the strength of Europe and made Europe go far beyond other continent, this happen through the help of creativity. The person that invented airplane first got the idea then it graduated into practical and then got to the final stage. Same thing applicable to other things that was invented the likes of vehicles, computer, technologies accessories, solar inverters, and the likes.

Let’s take a look to the bible reference about creativity. In the book of Genesis 1:26, the bible recorded it that, “God said, come let us create man in our own image". That's reasoning together and thinking, then God form man out of the dust, that putting the thinking into action. Creativity is bringing the truth out of lie, the fiction out of non-fiction, believable from unbelievable, seen from unseen, reality from unreal, possibility from impossibility, uncommon from common, to round it up creativity start from the I.Q (intelligent Quotient) thinking faculty.

How can you be creative? Firstly, the quality of your life determined the type of friends you keep, if I may ask? Who are you keeping as friend? Who is your mentor? Who is your best friend? Who do you look up to? Who do you learn from? Who inspires you? These questions will determine where you will be in the nearest future. If you are the best person amongst your friends, then you need to leave that room, if you are the wisest person in that circle, then it's high time you left that cycle. You must be around those who make you feel naked and less educated, if your friend is not building you, its destroying you, and if he's not adding to you it's subtracting. Keep a friend that can affect your life positively, build your career and make you have a colourful future
In addition; sign up for a class in something you've never done before, you can't be idle and expect to be creative, come up with something new, create a new Idea, the created item may be intangible (such as an idea, a scientific theory, a musical composition, or a joke) or a physical object (such as an invention, a literary work, or a painting). It can even be in your already business. Create the right environment, get a sketch book, sketch out your new idea and then make it work.

But still the government still has a lot to do on this because an idea that was put into action that was never recognized or encourage, it may die and never rise again. I will employ the government to support us on this act, create a seminar and educate people on how to be creative in all they do. By doing this it can solve the problem of job scarcity, unemployment and insecurity in the country.

In conclusion. History is the study of the past by the present people to correct the future and as will can see, it was this creativity that our forefathers had exhibited that is still helping us thus far. For instance agriculture was discovered by the early man and till now there’s no country that can exist without this system. Nobody is creating something new of benefit to the nation and to the world in general, the only thing will get ourselves involved in is creating of nuclear and atomic bombs, creating of sophisticated weapon that can destroy and destabilize, think new,  broading  your knowledge, discover new things and put it into action and you will see you are changing the world for better. Lets create something new that will give life and make our unborn generation proud of us like will did to the pass generation

ELENUMEJI

Prior to the concluded elections in the country, as a lover of his own country who wants the best for her at all times. Although, we're all created differently that's why we can't reason the same way.

It's my privilege to make something clears to many people about perspective of life. We shouldn't expect everyone to go the same way that is we've front and back but the best is to target positivity.  Difference in political parties shouldn't affect our brotherhood as a country. We've allowed party affect our relationship in which is affecting both sides.

Yes, I normally rose against some irregularities that Mr. President might step on but I think that shouldn't affect anything towards how this country would be great.

President Muhammadu Buhari declared the winner of February 23 general election in which I congratulated him and baffled many that how could I do so. I think nothing bad in that, whether we like it or not, he's going to rule us for next four years except court favours Atiku.

Congratulating and praying for him that God should lead him to right path is for me and your benefits because its going to have impact whether we like it or not. Yet some might be thinking am not living Nigeria, but what of your families reside here, the business you enrol, if economy is poor won't you be affected?, so if the good comes out, we're all going to enjoy it.

It's not until you cut your trousers and keep bears, that you perform Sunnah, but showing love for one's country is part of Sunnah. How would you perform Sunnah in it, by performing your duties and obligations as citizen, by obeying laws and rules of the land and by voting during election, praying for your leaders because no one is perfect and the likes.

Don't you know, not being a northerner, the killings going on in the north affecting we Yorubas and Igbos in terms of our families reside there, economy factor and others which is hidden. Don't let politics affects our way of life.

Let's me use my experience to buttress my points, don't mind me for focusing on my institution when making reference. It's where I have experienced of I would use. The out gone president of the citadel of learning, first college in Africa and the leading, ACE Ondo, Hon. Bidemi Zubair. When this man performs excellently I would appraise him and otherwise. Many think who is this man? But my own belief is if it's right, we're all going to enjoy and let's appraise to do more and otherwise. It's my watchword seeing my school, learning from her in terms of many areas. So, holding grudges or not doing like a family because of politics I think is very bad. Let's us play our politics in a matured manner, is it not this country that politicians cross anyhow?, so why are we behaving like separatist?. No matter the outcomes of this election, let's behave like one entity and our target should be on welfarism and development of this great nation.

God bless Nigeria

Hope Kwara Won't End Up Like Libya?

For the past forty years Saraki's family has been controlling the leadership of Kwara which father and son held governorship position and senate presidential post. It was a great success for father and son.

Recently, uproar of the slogan "Otoo gee" becomes the song of Kwarans everywhere on Social Media and even billboards all around in Kwara state.  Saraki's family has played their role in giving the best they could do within the years of rulings. The likes of airport, stadium and other infrastructural developments within the state.

However, can we just say that what Kwarans did might be a regret to them relating to Mammur Ghadafi issue of Libya. Ghadafi was a military head of state and introduce communism to his government which was started at Russia, being the first communist state. There was battle of ideologies between US being capitalist state demanding Ghadafi to introduce that to his governance. Never forget too soon that this battle of ideologies led to the splitting of North Korea and South Korea, Vietnam and other states. Ghadafi failed to listen to US which Russia was given him backing by supplying arms for him. US could able to evacuate Libyans brain by shouting for Ghadafi to leave corridors of power. Although he was captured and eventually held general election which present president isn't up to standard, now Libyans are regretting.

Kwarans, since you can't learn from recent history, if you cry wolf later, you'd be facing your problems yourselves. Am not saying Saraki's the best but I know you won't know the impact of someone until he leaves your life.

God bless Kwara state
God bless Nigeria.

Nigeria Movies

Nigerian movies

It's quite disheartened when Nigerians that ought to commend our artiste are condemning them. I can audaciously say what they're doing sometimes is good because if we take a look at messages passing out and education contents in it, we will know that they focus on the emblemish act confronting our society. Although there mode of dressing sometimes might be quite worrisome but I think it's permissible not to look at the characters of someone correcting you for barbaric act but are preaching for your own benefit.

Nothing bad watching American, Korean, Indian movies to have knowledge about their cultures and heritage but we've to feel proud of our own products so that our cultures and heritage will fade away. What we don't know is that these are selling out there own customs and focusing on the bad act which might not necessarily have anything good to our lives. I can say that those living there would have some complain on it that will be more worrisome than us here.

I enjoin everyone not to be saying bad utterances on these movies but to show pride in it, value it and let the messages passing out reflect in you. Those who are acting themselves know what they're acting on are bad but doing so in order to correct you. What they're passing are happening everyday. Two movies might focus on same contents, we should not look at that but take it as repeating messages for us. We humans do forget easily, so let see it as reawakening movies. If we cherish our products, others we do for us. This is one of the problems affecting our cultures directly or indirectly.

National Assembly. Change in Election Time Table

BASE ON CHANGE IN ELECTION TIME-TABLE

The issue on ground concerning changes made by the NASS on election timetable. I think this issue shouldn't cause much problem in the mind of peoples because ours is to perform our franchise for the qualitative and credible leader of ours.

I think in 1979, when we elected the first executive president, Alhaji Usman Aliyu Sheu Shagari when electoral body called FEDECO wasn't an independent body under the leadership of Michael Ani, presidential election came first.

However , in 1983 when FEDECO chairman was Ovie Whiskey, there was change in election time table. For such to happen in the past in which electoral body was dependent then I think we shouldn't weary of changes that has made on election timetable.

Mind you, constitution of 1999 stated that electoral body should be independent but has to pass through NASS for recommendations and screening. For the fact that NASS still have power to accept and reject anybody present by executive for an appointment, I think NASS has the privileged to use veto on INEC because they can use it on executive. But the issue is that by going through normal protocol, INEC is to conduct election, draw the timetable, dividing country into constituency and all the likes, I think if they can't decide themselves, judiciary should shield light on this issue because they are the interpreters.

Moreover, powers of NASS is to accept, reject,  and screening but not to decide for INEC on method to use in conducting election but NASS still supersede.

Inconclusive, no matter how it may be the judiciary should step in and clear the odour on ground. But in my own perspective, NASS supersede.

Nepotism and Favoritism

Nepotism and Favoritism

Don't you think that religious institutions are the one causing the problem of nepotism and favoritism in this country whereby the clergy and clerics of the two major religions will be preaching to their members that they shouldn't be friends or eat with other religions believer.

Don't you know that this little preaching affect the psychology of our people right from childhood stage and has seriously affected us up to an organization and political terrain of this country whereby in terms of giving job base on merit but prefer to give our religion faithful.

Also for us to support the qualitative leader to hold the mantle of leadership and because he doesn't belief in what you belief,  you won't vote for him.

So,  when parents hear this at there churches or mosques they Inform there children at home and get spread to problem of unity we are facing.

We are the problem of ourselves and may God intervene in to Nigeria enormous problems.

Why Economics and Biology should be made compulsory in the Senior Secondary Schools

Base on the fact that Civic education is made as a compulsory subject for some reasons like, to educate citizens about knowing there right and duties,  to uphold the spirit of patriotism,  values and contentment,  eradication of social vices among students and the likes.

I want Minister of education, Mallam Adamu  Adamu, should please make Biology and Economics the compulsory subjects for all students at senior secondary schools base on these  reasons:

  Economics

It will help every students to have a basic knowledge of what an economy means in helping them to prepare for speculative,  precautions and transactional motive.

To help them to inculcate the habit of saving for unknown hardship.

To have a key knowledge of preparing budget if fortunately they later hold the mantle of leadership.

To prevent against unnecessary lending of money. This will prevent them from lending 11trillion in 3years in office whereby the past borrowed 6trillion in 16years

To have a key knowledge of how to make business and by turning small goods to big one and when the result is yielding positively,  economist save money for Precautional purposes.

   Biology

If students have basic knowledge of biology,  it will help them in being hygienic at all times so that the disease like Ebola and Lassa fever and the likes will be prevented.

They know that eating nutritional foods and balance diet make someone healthy and strong.

Key knowledge of agriculture, when to plant and harvest,  how to prevent weeds,  using of fertilizers and setting up of poultry and other important things to reduce the stress they pass through in sensitizing citizens from what's bad.

There are so many pertinent purposes these two subjects can change in our lives because agriculture reflect In these two subjects,  having knowledge how to plant and harvest in Biology and how to make profit and save  for future purposes in Economics.

  Thanks.A

Nigeria want youth president

Since Nigerians are yawning for youth as president. Hope this youth won't be using our money for party every weekend and patronize prostitutes, alcohol consumption and the likes. Because I dey fear we youth because we are not  prudence in spending at all. Oju won yen le gan.

Maybe we should try them because the gerontocrats are rulling now, let take a look at youthocrats.

Positive change

THE POSITIVE CHANGE

A good leader must think positively of making change wherever he meets himself in life. With the little experience we have about this organization that is why we want make an effective and efficient positive changes. No leader in the world is perfect and no one can do everything. Ours is to play our role that will be of good if you give us the mandate.

As a prepared leader who has set down his program to deliver to his people. If we fail to plan we plan to fail. We have stated out the method to solve every issue.  We might face another problem on the run but with the spirit of delivering what's right, we going to come out in flying colours.

Why are we focusing our program on education is because the major reason for organizing this association is to improve education. And you know the legacy we can lay down is giving our people good and sound education and to make Ejigbo a good and educated elite town. Even the king is a lover of education.

With the help God who knows what's hidden and open will surely judge us base on our intentions in bring and re-branding Ejigbo educational development for better. Ours is to be determined in giving good governance and our God will support our dreams because he says he will surely Stand with good one among you. Never,  be on fence that we can't make just watch out to see the turn around.

A good leader should look out for where the problems lie and give necessary solution to it.  The remarkable success we have made will speak for us. Ejigbo needs fresh mind and accurate thinker in which we're. Equality m,  fairness and gender sensitivity we said shall be fulfilled. We're in need of your total support and with the help God, we won't let you down. We believe we can make it because nothing is impossible.

Watch out for the man who belief in God, man of people, people's choice, giant strides, man of positive change, man who believes everything is possible and be achieved. It's our dreams to make Ejigbo an educated and eloquent leaders of tomorrow.

Join the winning team and by God's grace, we shall laugh at the end. Its New Dawn!!! Bold Ideas.

Culture + Economy = Growth

Do you know that making law that will make people to be wearing native clothes(Ankara) to work from Monday to Friday, can help in embracing our own goods because it's because of no law stipulate that make some people not to wear it, if law back it up there would be a great change towards using Nigeria products.
Different people are found in campaign rally. Those who come to dance and sing, to sell goods, to listen to candidate speech, and other aspects.

As a good candidate you have to satisfy almost everyone in your campaign rally. Most especially those who come to hear your words. A candidate should be courageous to convince electorate perfectly through his usage of words and by lacking this, the tendency of winning is slim. You should be able to state your manifestos and explain the method to give solution to the problem. For instance, it's not a new talk in Nigeria states again that major areas the leading political parties are focusing on is the problem of salaries.  We all know that there's nothing Chief of Staff can say that people should listen to him because they're the brain behind the  problem of half salaries in the state. I think fools would listen to him.

However, the two other giant parties must explain how they solve the problem of salaries in the state not in hundreds days or in one million years I will pay salaries. Tell us how and what will make you continue in prompt paying that won't affect infrastructural development because we need to grow beyond flimsy promises as a state. We need not to waste another four years on nothing.

However, trace back the history in which a man among the leading candidates was impeached because of the struggle in payment of salaries within his boss and for that to happen, he's the love of his people at heart. No matter what he's competent enough to take us to greater heights as a great state.

Nigeria, let us think very well before we decide because a mistake can affect the whole.

Leadership Experience

My First Leadership Experience

Leadership is not an easy task but if one has the zeal to lead well with fear of God, you would be successful in it.

I was called by my course representative when we were on vacation, Farouq, won't you come to school?,  I would hope no problem. Nothing we need to discuss some issue. On getting to school, my friend, Muftau explain what's going on concerning those who would take over from current leaders. I explained about what my representative said maybe that was the reason for his call. He said letters wait and see.

The next day, meeting was called amongst us and he told they'd concluded I would represent them at SUG as Honourable. Why me?  Why not others?.  He said that's how it would be. In that case no problem. He said current president then would notify when form out to collect.

After the form was out, I purchased mine and I filled all the requirements from Hon. Olabode. He explained how things are going that these are the route to follow if you want this to be given. I listened to him and going from one stakeholder to another, some asked for money while some didn't. It gotten to a stage where the man who was given the slot said he wouldn't give me because many jostle for it that if I wanted to be granted, I would do these. I succumbed to his wishes by doing some parts. I went to former ASASS president concerning the matter he told me he would work on it no problem. It got to a stage that I wanted to stop but my mind says don't because this is for your people. I did everything I could by disturbing Olabode, meeting him on his way to exams venue and would still create his time to discuss certain issues to me. Later on I was told he was the brain behind being given the slot.

Now that this has been given, what's the next?. I vowed to my creator alone secretly that I would do these. Meeting started on who to choose as speaker and deputy, deputy clerk. We were told Education would decide speaker between two contenders while deputy would be decided between ASASS and Science. Permutation and calculation started. Meeting upon meeting at different angle. On Friday evening by 7pm we concluded on someone from Education, on getting to school to do election, table changed to second person. Election started by 11am we started with  deputy clerk, the man would rally round won. Clerk followed but had no opponent but must attain some numbers before he would be given the position, he reached and given. Deputy speaker followed where we held their election for 3times before the pendulum swong to us. Speaker followed and eventually all what we wanted granted. From Speaker to Deputy clerk.

I met with the speaker discussing on how NCE would have a say in the house in cutting the grass of discrimination between us and Degree, he said no problem on that when we get to house, something would be done. I went to vice president about the matter but what I took to her first was to woo her reason being that, I have watching her since day one I met her on campus but talking to her at that time difficult. I wooed her, and said the reasons behind her not accepting. We then talked about the major issue and promised to work on it too.

After sworn in as Honourable member, I would make sure I attend plenary by traveling from where I was doing my teaching practice to school. My friend fought me on the issue I told him it was the job given to me. We resumed to school, I explained to Hon. Olabode that I wanted to do this for History department, distribution of marker to them. He said, good of you that's nice idea. I told him what are the seperate functions of the Honourables, he said fight for students right. Alone? Yes. But I would do this. He said, no problem. I did it by handling the markers to Historian president on Friday. I told him about it, he said good of you. My intention for doing that is I want to make a difference. What do I think I can do to thank my people?.  I can't be given out money to all. What could I do to be useful for all. As at that time, no allowance as yet to be given but I thought that that was the right time to be given, the time they would be in lecture. If markers are given to all Historians course representatives, writing in board would be of benefits for all those who are present at lecture room and absentees by lending note from those who were present for lectures.

Correspondence /bill was asked to be presented. I made promised on the form I purchased that I would work towards the growth and development of ACE. What was that development?,  Inter departmental and faculty debate. I was in lecture room when Mr. Adebiyi Clinton lambasted us that a programme on essay writing was opened to all that whoever wins would be given scholarship, out of 15.000 students of ACE,  only one student from Agricultural science did such. It pained me to the extent of calling for such. I intentionally wrote that on time so that there wouldn't be excuses. The correspondence /bill was only read in the house, and nothing was done on it again. Deputy clerk would be asking for correspondence against next plenary, I would be reminding him about my correspondence he would say no problem. I did that to the extent that we ended our tenure and nothing good comes out of it.

I was at home, people were in school following all what was going on in campus. About to end first semester, Mr. President wanted to make transport an ease for students. Listing the prices of fare for different places. I don't know the price for others but I know Osogbo's own.  I read through it, I noticed the price was higher than normal one. I talked about it on parliamentary group on Whatsapp, no response. I wrote a publication on it that students should boycott the vehicles that it was an act to rob them. It pained Mr. President for not instructed him first. They made necessary remedies and later thanked him for that. Whenever Mr. President does what's right I would praise him, otherwise I would lambast. People don't get where I really belong. I belong to what's right. I have no formidable caucus, I I supported what's good for my people.

As time went on, I would continue with my normal self. So, issue of money came whereby SUG made a moved where school fees and due would be paid together. They were given money and how the money being spent, only speaker knew it and other members knew nothing only hearing from people that this was what happened and the likes. Executive doing differently, members don't punctual at plenary again. Speaker that could fight us had been put in their pockets. So nothing again. Plenary now became something else.

History held congress, my people from NCE said this is what they want concerning electoral stuff. I destabilized the congress due to what History speaker was passing through by tearing the constitution. It pained my people for doing so, o I apologized to them that I was not happy how scenerio was going that prompted me to do such. History has been known for that since past. Different allegations being said in school I didn't look at that, I just have in mind that what my people want is what I would do.

History day on campus, I was recognized by Mr President of History of and not called to the podium. It pained my representative, Olumide and Larry for such barbaric act. Just because of that, the day wasn't successful. I just said in my heart that who am I that these people were fighting on my behalf and ASASS president. This would end one day and it has ended now. Although that's been the act of History president seeing NCE as nothing. As at the time he was contesting for president, Muftau and I failed to follow the wished of our people because he had helped us on a topic First World War on tutorial that was why we failed to listen to them that the person they asked us to follow, don't know him at all. We voted for him and convinced some of our people and won. After winning we become his enemies. Muftau was about to smashed staff on on plenary day because of lingering issue between them. Was it not a regret for voting for this man, we saw it as normal way of life. My advice for Mr. President is don't see someone has inferior to you. Change is constant in life.

An issue erupted concerning not appointing electoral committee before lifting of ban. My colleague  Hon. Sodiq informed about the matter, I wrote publication on it lambasting Mr. President and Speaker. He got angry at me for doing such, I told my roomie, Abdul Gafar that I did that in order to correct them and other leaders Como Coming that if I failed to correct this act now, it would continue like that. Hon. Sodiq fought me but I know am doing what's right.

I believe in intellectualism not politics of bitterness. I don't believe different in ideologies shouldn't target same angle which is development. I promised to make difference and Alhamdulilah I could achieve part. Leadership isn't easy but if you determined to do your best you would achieve 80% of your plans. I learnt my leadership style from Sen. Sheu Sanni, Senator from Kaduna central. If President Muhammadu Buhari does what's right, he would praise him and otherwise make corrections. I urge everyone to adopt intellectualism like former president of America, Woodrow Wilson who was professor playing intellectualism with George Clemenceau of France then and George Lloyd on the issue of creation of league of nations and cutting the hands of Germany from being world leader that led to Second World War. History has taught me alot and I choose to follow Sheu Sani and Wilson path.

Valentine

VALENTINE

A man bearing Valentino died of love and since then people has started celebrating him for dyeing of love. The man died of love on 14th of February. So, every 14th of February, man will be in a state of loss.
So, we are now in the eve of Valentine. People have started planning how to use themselves for Satan purpose. Distribution of condoms is going on to use on female counterpart. Even those Muslim ummah that this doesn't concern has taken this on their head. They have chosen Valentine like festival. As if they want to mark new year.
"Whoever does what is not in accordance of Islamic doctrines, shouldn't count himself among us". Hadith 5 of An-Nawawis collection, gathered from Aisha, reveal from Bukhari and Muslim. What this Hadith is trying to explain is that, whoever joins them in celebrating or doing what Prophet and his Ulamas didn't do, shouldn't count himself as a Muslim and also will be return back to him.
Also, it's been written down in the holy Qur'an that when time comes what's not in the system would be in system Q103, verses 1-3 says thus; I swear by time, surely man is in the state of lose, except those who do good and enjoin others to do it and except those who worship Me and enjoin others to do it. The time Allah is talking  has come and whoever listens to Him would succeed here and hereafter.
It's sad that Muslims are the one shouting about this day and most especially ladies that their pride would be taken by nuisance. Well, Prophet Muhammad PBUH has said ladies are the one that would be many in hell fire. The result is yielding.
Stay away from shameful act now. Seek for forgiveness now because it hasn't late. Allah is Al-Gafar. He is ready to forgive you if you seek for it. Don't wait till tomorrow because no assurance for you that you're going to be in life tomorrow because you're not the owner of life you're using. Don't wait till you enter grave before knowing the truth. Qur'an 102, v 1-8 says thus; abundance diverts you, Until you enter the grave, nay! You shall soon know, nay, nay you shall soon know............  When you get in to the grave those who fail to listen now, truth will reveal to them. The best is to listen so that you won't regret. I know this man would be coursing you for increasing his sins year by year.

INDEPENDENCE

Nigeria!, a country that clock 58 years of independence. As a country, that's the giant of Africa. Let take her as a child for instance.

An adult who clock 58 years today will think of what he's achieved in terms of family affairs and religious activities. Where to correct and where to improve on. On the other hand, Nigeria, that's mother of all in Africa generally. In terms of economy, politics, ethnicity, and being a secular state, what have we achieved, where should we correct because many challenges ahead of us most especially general election next year. Are we still practicing democracy, is there maturity in credibility and free and fair election?, and where should we solve ahead of general election to prevent war?.

As a nation with different ethnicity, is there true love, unity and peace among ourselves and are we living as a one entity?.  These are where to look into.

As a country that's leadership and fellowership. Are our leaders perform good leadership roles and what we followers are doing as well to improve this country. In every position we're holding, what are the changes we brought and legacy we've made.  If Nigeria really want to develop I think we have to start from family as a responsible father, how do you manage your family? Are you preaching what's right to your children?,  are you as a father acting in line as a responsible father that children can learn from you?.

In every organisation we're or association,  what are the major roles you're practicing, how hardworking and dedication and devoted you're to work?

For Nigeria to develop, both leaders and followers are to join hands together to make this state grow and develop in terms of education, agriculture, power, economy and politics e. t. c.

Both you and I have major roles to play.  Let #Change_Begins_with_me. #Happy_Independence_Day_To_Giant_Of_Africa

Election postponement

This election postponement, I see as blessing in disguise, why?

Because if not that election was postponed, there would have been series of electoral fraud and wrong figures of results all around. The way PVC and result sheets are being seen and got by policemen is worrisome. I know before Friday evening, security men would have reduced this problem to minimal to reduce tension ahead of the polls.

Kudos to security men, for their unrelenting efforts towards having strong and viable democracy in the country. Keep catching them, may God see you through. I urge them not to get fed up or fail to show those who want to truncate Nigeria democracy. With what's happening and landslide achievement made by this security men, I believe we're going to conduct free, fair and credible election hopefully by God grace.

It's time, God bless Nigeria.

President Muhammmadu Buhari, a man of order

A Call To Order

The statement made by Mr.President, Muhammadu Buhari is in called for, despicable and disgusting saying whoever engages in snatching of box would be killed. I think sir, we are in a state being guided by constitution and for everything we're doing, we have to run in line with what constitution stipulated.

UDHR of 1948 states that everyone has "Right to life". I think life of every Nigerians should be meaningful to you no matter what. We're not in military rule where constitution is abolished and never forget you're not in military regime but civilian regime. So, whoever finds guilty should be prosecuted and face verdict.

Mr. President, I think Nigeria deserves apology from you so that it won't affect the credibility of this election. Although you were in angry mood that was why such statement was made by you.

Nigerians are not animals. You're ruling humans and these are those that'd casts their votes for you come February 23th.

God bless Nigeria!

My point of view

*Personal Issue*

_Lesson derived from debate_

Having attended landslide and exciting debate, what I was able to perceive as a normal human being is, *Inferiority*. What that means?

Over the years, many look at themselves as nothing in which they're something and that has affected them to move up to ladder morally and emotionally. But with the help this great programme, I see above and that gives confidence of not seeing myself as nothing among my colleagues.

Every participants performed excellently even I didn't expect such could happen. *Hon. Afolabi Daniel* motivate me and encourage me not to feel otherwise in such a way that where others are saying am barrister, doctor, and the likes, he could boast of being a farmer. Where others are saying I have requirements and meet up standards, he didn't feel otherwise.

Taking my school, Adeyemi College of Education as a case study where two programmes are being run, NCE and Degree. Most NCE, see themselves as nothing even for them to boast of what they're running as programme, they wouldn't. Many we lie of course they're combining as there main course. Let's say for instance, a guy studying Social studies/English, just because Social studies sound somehow, he would say am studying English as degree student which shouldn't be. In life, what we aim to get we mayn't get it but wherever you are, try to endure and tolerate it. Feeling depressed, as affected brilliant and intelligent students seriously to the extent that what they know seems like not knowing. Having poor results in school leading to extra year.

As a man, I always boast of being Historian anywhere and anytime. Many see me as arrogant fellow and means nothing to me. History as a course, has taught me alot about life, with it helps, I was able to use it for my boss, *Kadewole Adeyemi Blessing* for his emergence as president. Having studied mistake of past, to tackle the present yet prepare for future.  I wasn't function as a real ELGASAITE before, nobody knows me, people surprised who's this guy? Many even thought I was the one contesting. But with what my lecturer told me, Mr. F. E Babatunde, wherever you're, let's  history reflects in you. Let's people see you're a product of history. With this, it inspires and motivates me always.

I was able to notice this inferiority among my people, that was why I proposed a correspondence sent to parliament being an Honourable member, requesting for *"Inter-departmental/faculty debate"* , all to curb this act between NCE and Degree. I sent this correspondence to house the first day we started business but lack of dedication and hatred denied Mr. Speaker to further with it. I am still standing tall that if am opportune again, I will make sure this becomes reality.

I am imploring everyone not to feel anyhow no matter where you are in life. Feel superior, if people see us as arrogant fellow, let's them take you like that. Never downgrade yourself because this might affect you to appreciate God for His doings in your life. Steadfastness, focus and dedication, accepting position can help you to move forward.

Motivation For The Nigerian Youths

Nigeria has got nothing to offer her youth, a lazy youth will always remain a failure, and guess what!
Creativeness is d only panacea to our (youth problem because d government are not ready to aid, there is an adage dat says "heaven help those who help themselve"

That thing you know you are good at, keep it on your talent may later be the lead to your success, add passion to what you are doing, you never can tell, it maybe your dream work.

Always think of a new way, encourage new idea it will help your career, don't agree to the say that "there is know new thing under heaven" there's a lot of things that are yet to happen. You're the one to bring it to reality. Life is all about creativity think broader and bring out new thing.

Never waste your time, time is too precious than to just to be waste because it can never be retrieve when wasted. Stop procrastinating, tomorrow may not be in your favour, do it now and stop postponing. Stop wasting your time on unnecessary things, create time to surf the Internet, browse on how you can invest, there are blogs that are educative and can help you build a brighter future.

Death is not the worse thing, the worse thing is to die without fulfilling destiny, you maybe born poor but if you die poor it definitely your fault.

Yoruba as a language is losing her values, a call for remedy.

With the little experience I have, I noticed that the values of Yoruba is reducing day by day and what led to this?

Firstly Is lack of qualitative teachers in the school both in rural and urban areas. We hardly get teachers for Yoruba language and most times some schools hardly teach this subject and if we aren't careful Yoruba will become a past in our lives. At the primary school levels, where a teacher handles all subjects. Those teachers sometimes neglect the teaching of the subject because they don't know what to teach and how to handle and even what they know are what they focus on. That's been since and I am among the victims of this because of the way I was brought up by my primary school teachers and that's how I will do for pupils and gradual it trends.

However, these students hardly understand teachers in class when using English to explain to pupils and this mostly happen in the rural areas. With the experience I have gotten, if I continue explaining with English for my pupils for the whole day, is like am just wasting my saliva if I failed to interpret in Yoruba for them to understand. I think and I subscribe to the step took by former governor of Osun state, Olagunsoye Oyinlola in enjoining teachers to explain in Yoruba for students. If this could be applicable, I think there would be change towards the understanding and assimilating of the pupils.

Government should focus on primary school pupils and teachers because if the foundation is not okay, there are
big challenges upfront. There should be a debate among students on Yoruba and huge amount should be spent on those who performed well to boost the morale of others in concentrating and showing interest in the subject.

I would be happy if WAEC and other examination bodies can make Yoruba a compulsory subject and shouldn't be a voluntary one and he who failed shouldn't be admitted to school. With this, enthusiasm would be shown to this subject. A summit should be called and research should be taken on this language to know more about it weaknesses and way forward to it.

We have fallen in to victims and for future purposes and incoming generation, I think a necessary action should be taken to give remedy confronting this language. There should be a change now!

However, since parents don't check their children books at home to know how teachers handle students in school, it makes teacher to teach anyhow and even most schools don't have scheme of work to use at primary schools yet teachers teach what they understand. I don't want this to continue because of incoming generation, actions need to be taken.

Electioneering campaign

As INEC opens room for campaigns, what are the necessary requirements of political office holders and electorates?.

Firstly, they should be mindful of their utterances that won't jeopardise the peace and unity existing in the state. Each political party should tell electorates what they're intend to do, where problems lie and measures to apply in solving the problems. As a country that has attained close to 60years, I expect change in the thinking of the electorates. Not all those contesting know how to address the situation, they just know that our education is ineffective but lacks the technicality of giving remedy to the issue. Let's us give them thorough test not all about shouting at the rally but asking 'How' and I know with that many candidates will flop.

Nigeria  being the Giant of Africa needs to be walking not crawling. We can do it if we're ready to build a formidable state. Mind you, many don't know the functions of executive and legislature. They expect legislature to be performing the functions of executives like building of roads, bridges, gutters and others that they're not allergic to embark on. As a legislative member representing a constituency or district, his functions are to make laws, passing of budget and work towards bringing something tangible to his constituency by working in hand with executive to include that in the budget. It's for him to work for inclusion in budget while executive will embark on it.

Also, we've to shield the politics of money whereby money will buy the conscience of electorates in voting for wrong candidate who doesn't have the knowledge, technicality and clue to give good governance people deserve. Let's wake up from slumber, let's other African countries see us as a deterrent to them because Africa is the center piece of Nigeria foreign policy.  Those who are in abroad during this time, they know what their countries are facing but whoever promise to make change would be asked, "How?".

In nutshell, let's shun political enmity, Nigerians can't go the same way, party maybe different but let's work towards the same programme, and that's towards the growth and development of Nigeria. Let's get our brains functioning. May God bless Nigeria and Nigerians.

Parent misused words on their children

Is curse a tool to correct the bad act of children?
Why do parents see cursing as a way to correct their children? That's the questions intellectuals need to look into.

As a parents who wish that your children should go far better than you in life, in which you need much prayers for your children but you're the one cursing them, how do you expect the prayers work for them?. That means all your efforts are waste.

Although, not every curses work on the children because they might not be at fault, and also what you're cursing children for, ain't you fell, or falling in to that act?. That means a waste of saliva.

Parents think since God gives them the privilege on their children that if they cursed it would come to pass. They've forgotten that God doesn't just say yes to something without a tangible reason on that. Curses you see go into different areas and if the one you cursed throughly at fault that's when it will have effect on him.

Parents who are cursing there children now, they would not see it as something bad, but in future if it's working on the children, they will now started to regret there actions. For them to patient now, it'll be difficult. It will be better if all parents that cursed there children are living as at the time the curse is working on there children to regret there actions and face the problem together but it doesn't happen like that most times.

It's good to correct, but you have to check yourself before correcting that are you also acting in line with your correction? If we can't be looking in that aspect I think world will change.  A teacher who flogged students for being late to school, and not dressed properly, yet he also late to school and wore a flip flops to school, was there not partial in that one?. If that child fortunate to become a teacher won't he apply such method and be saying when we were, that was how we were trained and gradually it becomes trend. Let's everyone leads by example and world will be a better place for us to live on.

Africa, a developed continent before the advent of Whiteman, Nigeria a case study

Africa is a continent that has up to 54 countries which is called the home of Negroes. It's a continent that has developed in terms of economy, politics and religious, education and health sectors before the coming of white man.

Politically, Nigeria was separated with Yoruba, Hausa/Fulani and Igbo practicing different mode of administration. For instance, Yoruba is a tribe that was practicing democracy because checks and balances existed in there governance whereby the Ogboni society has the right to check the activities of Oyo mesi and Oyo mesi check activities of Alaafin, the head of state. The leader of Oyo mesi who was Bashorun, was the Prime Minister at that period. Alaafin only came out 3times a year that was the period of festival and Aremo who was the second in command couldn't succeed Alaafin. The political affairs was democratic to the extent that if Alaafin misused power would be asked to commit suicide which served as judgement for him and others.

Igbo system was acephalous in nature whereby every citizens were being carried along in the state administration and that made it a direct democracy. The Ofo were the head of each family in Igbo, whereby the head of Ofo is called Okpara who served as leader in decision making. Ozo title were the wealthy men in the society and different age grade was formed and performed different functions. We have junior, senior and elders. They were to clear and sweep market square, safeguard the community and performed judiciary role in the community.

However, economic aspects, in the Hausa/Fulani administration. They had the mode of buying and selling of goods and services whereby big market place was established and tax which served as a major source of revenue had to pay on cow known as jangali and other form of taxes. Unitary system applicable in the area where the Emir would devolute power for appointed chiefs would perform in line with what Emir stated for them. Alkali in charge of court case but big cases the Emir verdicate them himself. Sharia laws served as the constitution during the period which was unwritten and strictly adhere to unlike present one that's documented and hardly abide.

The means of exchange was trade by barter before moving to coweries as a mode of exchange. Nupe, Benin, Dahomey were all part of Yoruba and they all paid homage and tribute to Alaafin as revenue.

Education aspect was non formal education and vocational training in particular. Every family has there own profession. It might be goldsmith, farmer, and hunting. There's no way you would have the knowledge of one profession in the past. Nothing like lacks of job as it happens these days. Every children would be equipped and wouldn't be jobless.

Health aspect was good enough then. We had physician, herberlist and native doctors. They didn't have laboratories but they took care of sicklers without much problem. Even in this present world upon having knowledge of whiteman health wise we are still going to native doctor to make consultation on problem facing us. Physician and herbalist prepare herbs for us to use when we use medicine and no charges. So, we can say the coming of whiteman led us to become developing countries.

Militarily we were unique. In Yoruba region, they had there own standing army led by Are ona kankanfo and at district was Balogun with well equipped machineries. Although we cracked before we shot but we developed technologically in that aspect. The issue of Boko Haram stuff, we all heard about what vigilante and hunters made in killing them in the northern part of the country.

Culturally we are unique. Mode of dressing was decency and modest. When Nigeria players went for Russia World Cup tournament, we were the only country that failed to wear coat and was given prize. So why can't we be wearing our own materials to work. Why can't we improve our cultures.

In the past, we used to engage in moonlight play at night, like telling stories and playing together like brothers and sisters from different families. Such can't happen now again because coming of Whiteman has erased the love and unity binding us together. We were running extended family in the past but now we are running nuclear family. Two brothers are fighting each other saying, won sera won. Which shouldn't be so.  The coming of these people destabilize everything about us in Africa.

Inconclusion, the coming of whiteman to Africa is a course for us because it removed many things from us and gave us otherwise. If they didn't come, we would have developed economically, politically, socially, militarily and health wisely. The best is to start from the beginning.
